[Digikam-users] how does digikam determine the date of an image?

By order of priority :

1/ Exif date (the camera shot are registered here)
2/ Makernotes if exist (as a part of Exif)
3/ XMP
4/ IPTC
5/ file time -stamp in case of no metadata are found (most weird case)
