due to incompatible changes in the command line options, but if an update is only done for the QT4/KDE4 branch, many users with their new K10D and Samsung will not be able to use digikam for more than a year (?) , or even longer, (depending on how quickly their distribution will move to KDE4...) Just my 2 Cents (I have an older Canon and no problems ;-) Arnd
