[Digikam-users] BUG: no filters/fixes are working because an empty parameter in imlib being called

I'm having problems with using filters/plugins/fixes in Showfoto. I'm 
seeing the following errors on my console:

[gk at localhost ~]$ showfoto
***** Imlib2 Developer Warning ***** :
        This program is calling the Imlib call:

        imlib_image_has_alpha();

        With the parameter:

        image

        being NULL. Please fix your program.

As a result there is nothing being done when selecting on a 
filter/plugin/fix.

Some info:
- build on FC4
- compiled with both gcc 4 & 3.2

If some more details are needed, please ask.
