prospective students' project titles. In that screen you can see my<br>
questions, comment to your fellow mentors, etc. if you scroll to the<br>
bottom. In the middle you see a link: Open in Docs. Please open the draft<br>
proposals and comment/suggest/correct the students directly.<br>

Hopefully these students have been in your channel and list talking to you<br>
already. If they have not, please connect with them NOW.<br>

Sorry I didn't see this until now, as I've been very busy helping the<br>
applicants and mentors. Emailing mentors is really only to be done when<br>
nothing else works -- very little research is needed to find the diigKam<br>
IRC channel (#digikam on freenode) and their devel list, digikam-devel. In<br>
fact, you should have been active there all along if you're interested.<br>
<br>
Unless you have a well-developed proposal already which has been uploaded<br>
to the GSoC webapp, it's very late to begin, since the deadline to upload<br>
the Final is the 9th of this month. However, we did get a few good<br>
proposals just yesterday, so anything is possible!<br>
<br>
Guides are available, certainly, starting with<br>
<a href="https://community.kde.org/GSoC/2019" rel="noreferrer noreferrer" target="_blank">https://community.kde.org/GSoC/2019</a> and the links there. The requirements<br>
are there as well. It is expected that prospective students will do basic<br>
research and not wait to be personally guided to go through the necessary<br>
steps. Of course students help one another here on this list, and there is<br>
#kde-soc where that happens, some mentors are there to help, and me.<br>
