Marcel, there is a big bug somewhere in AlbumManager (or DIO class, i'm not sure). I have managed during 2 days more than 1500 RAW pictures on my main computer using digiKam for KDE3 (svn with count of item enabled).

Sometimes, when i move/remove items or albums in collection (generally using drag & drop), the counts of items is not updated properlly. This is reproductible ramdomly with Physical _and_ Virtual albums... The database is not updated in fact. Restarting digiKam solve the problem...

This is not relevant of changes done with patch from B.K.O 96388. I have tested with 0.9.3 witch not includes this changes, and problem exist too. There are also few B.K.O entries indirectly relevant of this subject.
