Else, why not using a Tags folder for that. Just tags the image that you want
to compare, go to this tags folder and press F3 (with 0.9.0-beta2 release of
course). Reduce sidebar to have a max image size on the screen.
Now change the current image using the mouse wheel. and select the right image
to remove.

I've just tested it and it will work, but it is not very handy. Tagging
images with digikam could be improved, but the main point is, that it
is not very intuitive to select two of the pictures and make them a bit
larger for a closer look...<br>
