advantages and so i'll trust your decision about that.
From the translators view, it's just another package that i'll have to
translate. I just downloaded the Exiv2 sources and found no files to
translate. So it looks like Exiv2 is a pure library without any output
string. If so, the error messages (and all other messages) will be
generated by digiKam and they will be translated during the usual
translation process....

No Oliver, The i18n structure is not yet implemented in Exiv2. i must do it.
There will a lot of messages to translate, especially Exiv/Makernote/IPTC tags
values/descriptions. This sound like libexif have.
For example, open Metadata sidebar tab ans select an exif tag. Press SHIFT+F1
and click on this tags... All strings in the tooltip appear aren't not yet
i18n...

you'll implement the 180n structure and i translate everything into
german ;-) There will everything be hosted? Inside Extragear or will it
be hosted by a some other server? I'm asking because, we will have to
watch for the po files (or whatever else will be used)...<br>
