Yes I have the source, but I could not reproduce an image that crashes. At this
one day, I produced three images that crashed; since then, none has. The source
are normal JPG images, some filters were applied. Nothing special in that
regard.

What I can reproduce are the uninitialized-value errors. (As I said, it would
be well possible that an uninitialized memory area is almost always as
expected. I once found the status of uninitialized memory very much
reproducible)
They may just as well be completely misleading though.
I would guess that refBits and signBits are not set to 0; I cannot judge if
this is relevant.
