Marcel,

With my new test program included in libkexiv2 from trunk, i cannot reproduce
the problem with your png test image. 

Test program load image, rotate it, and generate iptc preview as image editor
do. preview is saved in image and is extracted again to be save to an external
PNG file.

Your viewpoint ?
