[Decibel] Gsoc2009 idea--KDE Telepathy Integration

hi,
i want to go ahead and prepare a proposal for this idea : Message Logging

things that are making me feel a little short of confidence is that i hv not
really done any coding stuff with kde before, so i dont hv a general idea of
the kde libraries.
But i m a quick learner and i m ready to learn fast and work more.

i know c++ and Qt
right now i m going through the details of kde, documentation, and
tutorials.
Can u suggest me some possible readings??
or can u just tell me in which direction i should start and focus on..
