Hello!

Everybody say Hi to George in his new function as GSoC student, working on
KDE4 integration of Decibel! Best of luck for your work on Decibel!

How does this integrate with the persons stored in akonadi?

So far I thought of Decibel having a simple mapping between Telepathy handles
and an Id that refers to the entry in Akonadi. That entry already has IM
account data as well as phone numbers, etc., even with one preferred entry
being highlighted!

We will need to store additional statistical data:
Friend with, last seen, status, status message, maybe a "total seen count" to
find the preferred accounts of friends.

How can we store that efficiently in Akonadi? Merging it into the entry for
the person seems impractical to me as we would then need to store that data
along with the rest on LDAP or something:-)

I have not explored akonadi too deeply at this time, so this idea might be off
the mark.

Best Regards,
Tobias
