Hello dear anonymous mailing list subscriber(s),

I am proud to announce some small improvements in Decibel today, having
just submitted a new version of the code to SVN:

 * The API was simplified: ConnectionManager was renamed to
   ConnectionFacade to avoid confusion with the CMs from Telepathy and
   is no longer accessible from D-Bus. We use the Presence field of the
   accounts to decide which services to connect to: Just set the presence
   of an account to "Available" to bring it online. Set the presence to
   "Offline" and the connection will get closed again.

 * Presence handling works now. You can see for yourself by running the
   accountmanager goOnline test with the DECIBEL_TS_JABBER_USER and
   DECIBEL_TS_JABBER_PASSWD environment variables set (and the gabble CM
   from telepathy installed): It brings your account online, sets it to
   busy and then disconnects again.

Next things to do:

 * Set, store (and restore) presence message(s).

 * Write a GUI component to create and manage accounts while improving the
   API.
