<pre wrap="">Hi Friedrich,
(bug : <meta http-equiv="content-type" content="text/html; charset=ISO-8859-1"><a href="https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=290875">https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=290875</a> )
On the screenshot ( <meta http-equiv="content-type" content="text/html; charset=ISO-8859-1"><a href="http://img861.imageshack.us/img861/7954/20120107screenshot01.jpg">http://img861.imageshack.us/img861/7954/20120107screenshot01.jpg</a> ) the one without the blendicon are *.ora files saved by Mypaint. Mypaint have it's own *.ora writer, and generate the thumbnail inside the *.ora.
Open raster are open document with a subfolder for the thumbnails, so the system only copy the thumbnail in the cache if one is found, I think . ( certainly to be faster ) , when no thumbnails are found, It rellies on Calligra ( On Dolphin, I have to setup the 'calligra files' for the thumbnail preview ).
Thanks for taking care of it :)

<pre wrap="">Friedrich,
Could this regression be because of your thumbnailer work? We don't want the
icon to show up for .kra or .ora documents.

There is not yet any commit merged from me to the thumbnailer plugin, so I
feel innocent :)
And from what there is in the current code the bug should indeed be fixed.
What is strange in the screenshot is that there are thumbnails with and
without the blended icon for the .ora documents. I suspect the ones with
blended icons are just old icons from the thumbnail cache?
David, do you get thumbnails with an blended icon also for new created ora
files?
To clear the filesystem thumbnail cache, I only know the brutal "rm
~/.thumbnails/ -r".
Cheers
