Although there is no apparent reason.... the sound returned to work
well with wav files.<br>

I'm embarrassed. I know that things happened exactly as reported,
but made me look like an idiot.<br>
The problem happened after an update made yesterday and after reboot
normalized.<br>
I'm sorry for using your time unnecessarily.<br>

You should check your KDE installation, no idea why it tries to look
for excel-sheets mime types. But this is likley not related to the

Could it be you do not have permissions to execute files on that
share? Apparently the system thinks the source is invalid, which
indicates a permission problem, not an Amarok one.
