Hi there,<br>

I'm interested in helping to improve amarok (2.0), but thought I'd seek

some guidance first.<br>

I'd like to start by writing a patch to allow grouping by Album Artist,

as described in <a href="http://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=146800">this

bug report</a>. Is there a formal procedure for writing a spec for

this, or do I just roll up my sleeves and build it according to how I

think it should work? Can someone point me in the right direction as to

which parts of the software will need changing? <br>

I've already had a bit of a poke through the code and have a high level

understanding of it all, but I thought I'd email and ask before I try

anything, especially as someone may already be working on this.<br>
