Well.... It is set... and is not working.
But i wonder why Amarok is unable to read CD Text or doesn't allow mo to set desired data myself... This sounds strange but it is. Amarok really has to have some changes in this part.

Jon Ursenbach <lorderunion@gmail.com> wrote:
You probably don't have a proper CDDB server setup in your Audio CD configuration within Amarok. I don't know how other sound systems are setup as I only use Xine.

Settings -> Configure Amarok -> Engine -> CDDB Server: freedb.freedb.org (port 8880)

On Jan 15, 2008 8:18 AM, <IAQMas@yahoo.com> wrote:
<blockquote class="gmail_quote" style="border-left: 1px solid rgb(204, 204, 204); margin: 0pt 0pt 0pt 0.8ex; padding-left:

Placed it in my CD player and noticed one
unpleasant thing. CD riping program recognizes disc content. Artist name,
song names, years etc.. Amarok just displays album : AudioCD and all the
tracks are named Tranck x... Why is it so? Have i done something wrong? OK
i tried to rename tracks or set Artist name but Amarok denied it. Even
basic build in Windows CD player has ability to store and recover basic
info about CD. So is it my fault or Amarok lacks simple ability to manage
CD's?
_______________________________________________
Amarok mailing list
Amarok@kde.org
https://mail.kde.org/mailman/listinfo/amarok
