Hi,
It seems that the Random album mode of Amarok doesn't work properly with albums that have more than one CD. Instead of first playing all the tracks from the _first_ CD and then continuing with the second CD, it first plays the first track of the first CD then jumps to the first track of the _second_ CD and then jumps back to the first track of the first CD thus looping on these two tracks and ignoring the rest of the play list.

The following is a faulty setup (copied from the link [2]):
I own a 2 CD album. I've ripped the track and correctly tagged them. In
particular, the first song on the first CD has tags like: { 'Track' => '1', 'Album' => 'My Album Title', 'Disc Number' => '1' } and the first song on the second CD has tags like: { 'Track' => '1', 'Album' => 'My Album Title', 'Disc Number' => '2' }.

What I'm doing:
Add the first two songs for each disk in this album to the play list. (Larger playlists exhibit similar behavior, but this is a small test case that shows the problem.)
Choose Mode -> Random -> Album
Start playback

Please note that it seems that this bug has already been reported, then misunderstood and wrongly closed and marked as resolved sometime ago. See:
[1]
