If it were a missing library issue, the amarok front end would not even start. The problem I am experiencing is that when I use the front-end wrapper "amarok", it loads, and runs for some time, but always locks up after several minutes of use. When I choose not to use the wrapper, and run amarokapp directly, I can run it without any issues at all.
<br><br>I will try the strace against the wrapper binary as you suggested, and let you know if that yields any results.<br><br>Thanks for the suggestion. Hopefully, I'll find something with it. :-)<br><br><div><span class="gmail_quote">

You might run "ldd amarok" and/or "strace -o amarok.err amarok" and see<br>if something shows up missing. When you have it crash then do<br>"tail amarok.err" (man tail for more options).<br>
