I finally got a chance to play with my Karma again... after deleting all my playlists, it works with Amarok. I just did it now, so I haven't had a chance to do much yet with it, but this is a great start. Very nice folks!

There aren't many tools included with libkarma, certainly nothing such as the
mtp-files/mtp-detect tool. The only one I can think of is the lkarmafs
project which creates a fuse-based filesystem for the karma.

That said, I *think* that the crash might happen when reading a playlist. (and
lkarmafs doesn't show playlists, AFAIK). So you *could* try deleting
playlists from the device (assuming you have some and that you don't want

FWIW, I've tried my Karma with Amarok (SVN) using libkarma 0.0.5 and 0.0.6
with omfs 0.6.1 and 0.7.2 and it works ok.

Andy

--
Virtually, Ned Wolpert
