far I mainly used Java but I will do my best to get used to C++ and Qt. At University we learned Functional Programming using Haskell and Imperative Programming in Oberon so far. Having used Linux with KDE for a few years now I am highly motivated to take part in its development, google summer of code seems to me to be a very good chance to start with it. Best wishes, Andreas
