Please, only make KDE screnshots with the default Oxygen theme for the
Quick Start Guide. Remember, it is for First Time users, don't confuse
them too much. We can add a section for other platforms with
screenshots later, but I don't think it should be in the QuickStart
Guide.

Hey, thanks a lot :)

Userbase.kde.org uses Mediawiki, so I got rid of most of the HTML code
so far, as it is unnecessary and rather cluttering, rendering the
editing rather tedious. For more information about Mediawiki editing
style, please see here: http://userbase.kde.org/Help:Editing or
directly on the Mediawiki Portal:

Please also respect the Editing guidelines for Userbase:

I am not sure this should still be used, especially not for editing.
The wiki is much better suited for collaborative editing than Google
Docs anyway, as it has a proper history function which is more
comfortable than the one in the Google Docs.

Not in the QuickStart Guide. I would rather opt for a Screenshots
section on other Desktops/Operating Systems/Other KDE themes. See my
concerns above.

Oh yes, this is indeed rather long and detailed, it sure is an very
good start for a Handbook, but not really quick :) How about
continuing the work on the Handbook based on this in the Wiki?
