I've just tested with an NFS share I set up on my NAS server. Works properly - collection items in the remote folder immediately appear and disappear as it's mounted/unmounted. I checked with state changes while Amarok wasn't running as well, which also worked properly. IMO we should ship for 2.6 if we can get another tester or two (ideally with a slightly older KDE version).

This fixes a bug where Amarok (very probably needlessly) polls solid
for all devices every single second (!!!) just to detect whether some
unmounted paths become mounted or vice versa. This should not be needed
at all, solid should notify us about everything.
However, I am not sure, so this is definitely not a material for 2.6
final but rather 2.7 if no problems show up.
