On my work pc, Amarok skips tracks on an auto track change (never on a
manual switch). I can't reproduce this at home and am not able to
debug Amarok at work. I've also heard of other users complaining of
the same problem.

I'm having that problem here, seems to be related to xine, it doesn't happen with gstreamer. The strange thing is people having that problem are usually using xine 1.1.16.1 and it should be fixed with 1.1.16.2, so anyway it doesn't seem to be a bug in amarok's own code.
