I mean i see no issue in lobbying for candidates who you feel are strong. I think we need to step back a bit and realize that a) (as Dan said) this is just for financial/legal matters and b) We're still a community of developers/contributors. I would really hate to see this one vote divide us so much.</div><div><br></div><div>I think Lydia was angry because she felt that people were trying to circumnavigate the power of the vote by insisting on certain members be a part of the board regardless (The reference to Linus I think is misguided, Amarok does not have a bus factor of 1 as Linux does). But if we look at Greg's email as his own endorsement of Mark and exhortation to vote for him (rather than put it past voting altogether) it won't be as inflammatory.</div><div><br></div><div>So all that said, I look forward to more endorsements from those that feel that they should give them.
