<br>portable we'll have to have plasma-less code too to handle Mac and Windows<br>environments.</blockquote><div><br>i think its pretty platform-generic. anyways, i'm not proponing actually embedding plasma into amarok, but more like taking the general theme concept from plasma and applying it to our contextview. so it would still be a QGraphicsView at heart with SVG rendering used to make widgets. and AFAIK thats totally portable as we would be using generic Qt classes
