I know that these strings are used to fetch from wikipedia. i18n() doesn't need to be a string displayed to user, it can be something that varies per-language and can be easily translated by translators. Hardcoding these is really a bad idea IMO - you either have it working for just few languages or you have swich() cases for tenths of languages (gosh!).
