Sounds cool, I could be a mentor or co-mentor for such Telepathy
projects as well.

In general when coming up with project ideas its good that they be
limited to plugins, either a new plugin or continuing work on existing
plugins. Something like refactoring is poorly suited to a GSoC
project.
