Last days i tried to test various aspects of the current image and noted down<br>
what seemed the most serious ones.<br>

here is a list that being quite big seems quite scary, but can be broken down<br>
in simpler points and simpler tasks quite easily.<br>

some of the problems (like those != from nepomuk ones) can be easily taken<br>
from anyone i think,<br>
so what i would like to see happening the next days is:<br>
* people testing those issues on their images, to see if they are<br>
reproduceable by everybody/ still valid<br>
* discussing the problems, breaking them down to very simple tasks, and<br>
hopefully some people can take some simple problems, as good, introductory<br>
junior job tasks for starting hacking around plasma active<br>
<br>
also, i want to pretty much close features for pa4 (except maybe one or two,<br>
we can talk about what they could be), giving all priority to stabilization.<br>

<br>
Boot<br>
* hackish, should use completely systemd, or at least the systemd module<br>
package not being called "nemo-mobile-session" (problem in mer)<br>
<br>
Nepomuk/activities<br>
* the default activity doesn't seem to come up with the two default linked<br>
resources<br>
* impossible to add resource to an activity, partially reproducible on a<br>
desktop build (seems kjobs don't get auto started anymore upon creation, very<br>
weird)<br>
* the model doesn't see connected resources until next boot, tough seems<br>
nepomuk not emitting added/removed signals<br>
* all those issues are connected to two recent commits in nepomuk-core,<br>

* since is a runner, the order gets changed after launching items, their<br>

* konsole icon enabled by default<br>
* new icon that shouldn't be there, "Import wizard" from kdepim<br>

Development settings<br>
* impossible to show the mouse: X started with nocursor from Mer<br>
<br>
Keyboard<br>
* if crashes (never happened) or gets killed, will restart without kniwing<br>
where to fetch plasma components<br>
* Very old problem: some text fields lose focus when clicking on a button:<br>
probably due to touchscreen driver problems that delivers some unwanted click,<br>
problem was masked when the keyboard masked input from the whole screen<br>

SLC<br>
* all nepomuk related services don't work (add to activities sometimes)<br>

Applications<br>

Broken applications due to upgrades<br>
* all kdepim: akonadi crashes on start<br>
* alarms: affected by akonadi as well<br>
* networkmanager is invisible in the panel (has been ported to qml, seems a<br>
parse error, talking with Lamarque)<br>

File Browser<br>
* Difficult to drag and drop (toolbar drop targets are very small)<br>
* drop to trash doesn't work (always error message)<br>
<br>
News reader<br>
* always loads as "desktop" (must be ported to new device specific ui<br>
framework)<br>
<br>
Bangarang<br>
