            Bug ID: 296223
          Severity: grave
           Version: unspecified
          Priority: NOR
          Assignee: active at kde.org
Summary: Latest update destroyed all my settings
    Classification: Unclassified
                OS: Linux
          Reporter: bkorb at gnu.org
          Hardware: openSUSE RPMs
            Status: UNCONFIRMED
         Component: General
           Product: Active

I applied the openSuSE updates for the first time in a couple of months and on
reboot my settings were wiped out. One desk top instead of 12. Trying to set
back to 12 gets me one. Focus follows mouse no longer works. In fact, raising
windows doesn't work -- even getting focus to a shell or emacs window often
does not work. What horse dung. Would you please do a little testing before
foisting ill-conceived junk on the world? I would not be so irritable, but for
the fact this is all too common with your releases. Whack your customers off
at the knees and claim you carefully researched your changes and it was so long
ago and you just cannot go back at this point. Please respect your customers
and learn from mistakes. (I know I'm not showing a lot of respect here, but I
did years ago when I first selected it for my desk top. I was happy back
then.)

Sorry for the rant. Thank you.
